Cause |
The printer is not recognized or not supported by Windows (wrong or missing Device-ID). |
Intermec C4/PC4 - the printer does not have a real USB port, but a virtual COM port for which no 64bit drivers exist. Use under newer operating systems is limited. |
Troubleshooting |
Intermec C4/PC4 - connect the printer with the parallel or seriell port to the PC. Alternatively use a an adapter.
No special driver is required for all eXtra4 applications, you can use the Generic / Text Only driver (Windows standard). |
A recommend adapter is the Triplite Keyspan USA-19HS. Order-No. 66 T-USBSER. |
