Cause

The platen is worn out through usage.

The platen was mechanically damaged.

The platen is palpable malformed on the label bearing surface.

Parts of the platen were removed (e.g. by a knife while removing label remnants from the platen).

Troubleshooting

The platen has to be changed. Please send the printer to your dealer for maintenance.
