Troubleshooting

In booth cases the adapter has to be replaced.

In some rare cases simple USB adapter were no longer working after a Windows Update. Hence the adapter firmware can not be update, the device has to be replaced.

The best results was achieved with the Triplite Keyspan USA-19HS.
